Without saying urban outfitters is the epitome of street chic. A little on the pricey side for a poor student like me but when that to die for item appears its usually worth the investment. Im heading to electric picnic this year and while several high street stores have spawned the " festival look" its hard to find an outfit that doesnt compromise of a tribly hat and a printed tee. Urban outfitters are on it though I love the straw fedora ( £32.00) and the BDG folded stripe dress ( £38). The festival collection is laid back and effortless just the way it should be.
And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it

Style Watch
Unless you live under a rock its hard to escape the work of the Satorialist in the fashion world. The concept is simple and foolhardy Scott Schuman takes to the streets of Paris and New York and photographs fashions finest. I think its rather beautiful to see how much fashion means to people. I think everyone needs to find their own inspiration. Everytime I look at the photos its nice to imagine what kind of lives these people are living.

The Wardrobe
Can anyone tell me where Natasha Khan gets her clothes?
Fronting Bat for Lashes Natasha Khan is pretty much as cool as it gets in the style sweepstakes. Her unmitakeable sound is accompanied with a style that cites Sun Ra and the Cockettes as influences.
Combining the best of vintage chic and indie glamour she makes me want to run to nearest vintage store and tie scarves in my hair and then on to the nearest forest to pick flowers.
Daring, dark and yet whimsical Natasha Khan pefectly threads the hit and miss borders.
Purchase of the Week
I did some internet shopping today and came across Hed Kandis line for Miss Selfridge to celebrate its tenth anniversary. I couldnt resist. The electric music label have designed ten Ibizan inspired frocks averaging at about 50 euro each. Its a small price to pay for a dress that oozes sex appeal and has the clear cut positive of being a limited edition. Needless to say I bought two...and now the waiting game.
