The shift towards eco awareness has long been the accepted alternate in cars and domestic products but does eco fashion really have a place in this forum. Just a year out of Parsons Allen executed her eco brainchild to form Design Futurist in 2005 and was soon afterwards recognised by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. Conceptualising itself on sustainability, fashion and technology Nadia has to provide a greener enhanced solution executing an alternate directive to non petroleum based products. With a menswear collection in the process and several contracts to her name with Donna Karan to name but a few perhaps its about time we reevaluated our stance on environment driven fashion.
