To die for

Tie dye is back!! But wait. This is one trend that deserves its 15 minutes of consideration. Before you cast reversions to closeted diy attempts at fashion from your youth, take a look at the new spring summer collection by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez for Proenza Shoueler. I recently bought a blue tie dyed tassel dress from Free Sprit and I have to say that it really works. To work the trend mix things up a bit, learn the art of the mish mash mesh. Pair a tie dyed mini with chunky biker boots or gladiator heels and a fitted jacket or team a tie dyed tee with a fitted leather skirt. The trick is to steer clear of rainbow patterns and too much colour and opt for a more complacent colour set, deep blues and greys work particularly well.
